General Lacrosse Camp
We are entering our 11th year offering this camp and in that time have developed a proven camp experience which incorporates individual instruction with team play in a fun and energetic environment. Players will receive individual instruction from both players and coaches from Apex High School as well as collegiate players and coaches.  Whether you’re a goalie, attack, middie, or defenseman, this camp will provide experienced effective coaching for each position. Fundamentals developed in the skills portion of the camp will be tested in game competition each night. Here campers will be challenged to use newly developed skills by team coaches in a positive high energy game situation. This camp is available to all skill levels and has been a huge success over the years. Because of space constraints and effective ability to provide individual attention, we limit the number of campers to around 100.  So register early to guarantee a spot.

Levels:  Boys rising grades 3-9, Beginners through Advanced ($130)

Beginners Introductory Program
Because of the success and popularity of the program last year, Apex HS Lacrosse Camp is announcing we will once again offer in addition to the General Camp our Beginners Introductory Program. The introductory camp is reserved for new players rising 1st and 2nd grades.  Since our general camp includes rising 3rd graders we did not include that age with the introductory portion.  However, at a parent’s request we will allow a rising 3rd grader to attend the introductory program. The introductory program will be held from 6:30 until 8:00 PM Monday June 20th through Thursday June 23rd, 2011. Price for this camp is $80 and equipment requirements include only a lacrosse stick. On your registration please indicate Introductory Program.

Levels:  Rising grades 1-3

Parents Lacrosse 101
On Wednesday night, June 22nd from 6:30-7:30 we will once again hold a parents session of Lacrosse 101 in one of classroom trailers adjacent to the field. Here we will provide an explanation of basis lacrosse rules, strategies, equipment needs, and give some parent lessons so you can play catch with your son. This will be open to all parents with a registered camper, and is included as part of the camp registration cost.
Date:      Wednesday June 22, 2011; 6:30-7:30
Levels:   Parents who want to know what a ride is, to parents that would like to discuss the 1-4-1 offense

Shooters Academy
Finally, Apex Lacrosse Camp is pleased to announce we have added a Shooters Academy. Want to increase the speed and precision of your shot, and feel that a full camp experience may not be what you are looking for? Maybe you are playing on a club team this summer or attending another overnight camp and cannot commit to another camp.  Then come out and try the Shooters Academy! Here we will instruct on proper shooting form to maximize accuracy and speed. Shooting from all areas of the field will be covered. We are offering two groups of the shooters Academy during the general camp. The first group, concentrating on midfield shooting will take place on Monday June 20th and Wednesday June 22 from 6:00 -7:30. The second group concentrating on attack shooting will be offered on Tuesday June 21 and Thursday June 23. You may sign up for either or both regardless of your position.  The cost of each group of the Shooters Academy is $60.
