| BOYS
LEAGUES ONLY!
Each team in the boys junior varsity and boys varsity leagues must have an adult representative at each game to check their roster, communicate any needs with league officials, curb any foul language or other inappropriate behavior, and possibly help with substitutions. We want this to remain a “players” league where the kids have a chance to just play, have fun, compete, and work on their skills. Any team that allows
players who are not registered for the league to play on their team will
be suspended from the league on the first infraction and removed from
the league on the second infraction. If a team is “short”
on players for a game, the adult team rep should communicate with the
NCLAX League Official present and arrange for extra players to join that
team for that particular game. This is done to maintain fairness and safeguard
all of our players’ playing time. |
League Philosophy: We are committed to the safety of our players. Indoor rules dictate that the games be called much "tighter" than regular outdoor games. Body checking is strictly prohibited and excessive stick swinging is not allowed. As coaches, we want all of the players playing defense with their FEET, not by swinging their sticks. This will develop good habits for the upcoming season and will maintain a safe atmosphere in our games. Winter Indoor is about skill development, sharpening your game, being with your friends, meeting new ones, and having fun!
