LACROSSE WALL DRILLS


1) All Drills must be performed with both hands.

2) Always use lacrosse gloves when performing these drills.

3) Any wall will work, but a smooth concrete wall at least 10 feet high is best.

4) Stand about five yards from the wall.

5) Always be moving your feet- practice good technique!

6) Perform this routine 4 times a week for 15-20 minutes. You will see great improvement in your skills.

DRILLS

· Right hand quick stick with left foot forward. (Left hand with right foot forward). 50 reps each hand.

· Right hand, one hand catch and cradle with left foot forward. (Lefty also) 50 reps.

· Right hand catch and face dodge 50 times. (Lefty)

· Split dodge- throw right/catch right. Split dodge to left hand, throw left/catch left. Split back to right hand (50)

· Catch and throw- change hands on every throw while ball is in the air (50)

· Cross handed catch (catching the bad pass) 50

· Mark a spot on the wall- throw for accuracy from varying distances.

· Run the wall- catch and throw on the run- change hands.
